Halogen-free V-0
Gives PC/ABS and PPE/HIPS UL 94 V-0 without bromine or chlorine.
Resorcinol bis(fosfato de difenila) (PDR) is a halogen-free liquid phosphate flame retardant for PC/ABS, PPE/HIPS and other engineering plastics. SUNCHEM supplies RDP with a batch COA on every shipment; the TDS is sent on request.
RDP is an oligomeric aryl phosphate with about 10.7% phosphorus. It acts mainly in the condensed phase, promoting char, and it also plasticizes the polymer, improving melt flow. It is used in PC/ABS and PPE/HIPS housings for electronics and office equipment that must meet UL 94 V-0 without halogens.
RDP has a higher phosphorus content than BDP, so lower dosage reaches the same rating; BDP offers better hydrolytic and thermal stability. Acid value and TPP content are the numbers to compare.
Gives PC/ABS and PPE/HIPS UL 94 V-0 without bromine or chlorine.
Also plasticizes the melt, which helps thin-wall molding.
We quote against your phosphorus content, valor ácido, TPP content, viscosity and water and send the batch COA for each lot.

Phosphorus content, valor ácido, TPP content, viscosity and water limits depend on the producer grade and are stated on the TDS and batch COA; the limits for your order are confirmed in the quotation and contract.
Where RDP is used, and what to confirm before you switch supply.
The standard halogen-free flame retardant for PC/ABS housings of notebooks, chargers and office equipment.
Used in PPE/HIPS blends for electrical and electronic parts.
Used in PC, TPU, epoxy and other resins where a liquid phosphate is preferred.
| Your requirement | What usually works |
|---|---|
| PC/ABS with lowest dosage | PDR |
| Higher processing temperature or humid conditions | Consider BDP for better hydrolytic stability |
| Liquid dosing in compounding | Agree viscosity and container |
| Replacing an existing supplier | Send your current TDS or COA; we quote against the parameters you approve |
Drums or IBC; tell us which suits your dosing system.
Keep containers closed in a dry store; moisture raises the acid value.
Name the polymer and the fire rating you must meet — UL 94 class and thickness, LOI or cable standard.
Phosphorus content, valor ácido, TPP content, viscosity and water.
For parts used in humid conditions, compare RDP and BDP in your aging test.
Compound a trial batch, run your fire and mechanical tests, and keep the approved lot COA as the reference.
Tell us the polymer, the fire rating you need, the quantity and the destination port. Add your current specification and we will quote against it.
