High bromine, high stability
About 82% bromine and a high melting point suit engineering-plastic processing.
Decabromodiphenyl ethane (DBDPE) is a high-bromine additive flame retardant for HIPS, abdômen, poliolefinas, PBT, polyamides and wire and cable compounds. SUNCHEM supplies DBDPE with a batch COA on every shipment; the TDS is sent on request.
DBDPE carries about 82% bromine and is thermally stable, so it survives the processing temperatures of engineering plastics. It is used together with antimony trioxide as a synergist in HIPS and ABS housings, polipropileno, PBT and polyamide parts, and in wire and cable insulation. It is widely used as the replacement for decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE), and its low bloom and good UV stability suit light-colored parts.
For compounders, bromine content, whiteness and particle size are the numbers that decide dosage and appearance.
About 82% bromine and a high melting point suit engineering-plastic processing.
Used where DecaBDE has been phased out, with low bloom in light-colored parts.
We quote against your bromine content, brancura, melting point and particle size and send the batch COA for each lot.
