Introduction:

HC VIOLET BS is a dark purple concoction that most people use for their enjoyment. itS is a compound that reacts to derivatives of hydroxyl groups.

It also exists in two different optical isomers, each consisting of one enantiomer. The nickname for HC VIOLET BS is Hydroxymethyl violet bromide (the one without chlorine).

Hydroxylammonium iodide (HAI) and hydroxylamine hydrochloride (HAH) are other common quantities used in this recipe. Follow these simple steps to produce HC VIOLET BS. First, take 1 g HAH or 2 mL hydrochloric acid with enough water to make 1 L by volume; add 0.5 g nitrite salt; stir while cooling until no more gas bubbles come up. This chemical reaction resulted in HC VIOLET BS.

Applications:

The HC VIOLET BS is most often used for its reactive dye property. It can apply the dye to wet pulp to provide a visual indication of the effectiveness of the retting process.

Reservoirs are typically kept dark for this purpose which, combined with an excess of polyvalent cations (generally Ca+2), may serve to inhibit degradation by oxidation and discoloration by ferrous compounds. Alternative uses include a textile fabric dye due to its ability to resist fading, chalking and shrinking when exposed to washing temperatures up to 130°C; as an agent in pharmaceutical coatings; dermal health aids; liquid oxygen carriers; or food coloring.

It is a high-quality pigmented surface coating for front and back surfaces. Easily applied, HC VIOLET displays excellent conformity, build shear resistance and edge leveling properties, as well as an improved depth of color.
