디라우릴 티오디프로피오네이트 (DLTDP), CAS 123-28-4, is a cost-effective 2차 항산화제 of the thioester class. It is the diester of 3,3'-thiodipropionic acid with lauryl alcohol (C12), giving it a lower molecular weight (514.8 g/mol) compared to DSTDP.
This structural difference results in slightly better solubility in polymer melts at lower temperatures, making DLTDP particularly suitable for polyolefin processing below 200°C. Like all thioester antioxidants, it decomposes hydroperoxides into stable, non-radical products.
