CAPB is made from coconut fatty acids, dimethylaminopropylamine and sodium chloroacetate. It is compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants; combined with anionics such as SLES it increases foam, thickens the formula with salt, and makes the product milder on skin and eyes.
