HALS 123 (bis(1-octyloxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacatar) carries an alkoxy group on the hindered nitrogen, which makes it essentially non-basic. It does not interfere with acid catalysts or acidic components, so it is used in acid-cure automotive and industrial coatings, often with a UV absorber.

Define the exposure
Note the climate, the expected service life and your weathering test (xenon or QUV hours, retained elongation, gloss or ΔE). For agricultural film, list the pesticides and fumigants the film will meet.
