Sets the fruity top note
A fruity, banana and pear character at low dosage, so a small amount carries the profile of the finished flavor.
Isoamyl acetate (isopentyl acetate) is the classic banana and pear flavor ester. It is used widely in fruit flavors for food and beverages, in tobacco and fragrance compositions, and as a solvent. SUNCHEM supplies isoamyl acetate with a batch COA on every shipment.
Isoamyl acetate is the ester of isoamyl alcohol and acetic acid. Its strong banana–pear odor makes it a base material for banana, pear, apple and mixed-fruit flavors in candy, beverages and bakery. It is also used in tobacco flavors, personal-care fragrances and as a solvent for lacquers and resins.
Commercial isoamyl acetate can contain related amyl acetate isomers; the TDS states the isomer content, which matters for flavor use.

Keep containers closed in a cool, ventilated store away from heat and ignition sources. Esters slowly hydrolyze with moisture, which raises the acid value.
