Introduction:

Trisnonylphenyl phosphite (TNPP) is a colourless to yellow, viscous liquid with a sweet odour. It is commonly used in fungicides and organic synthesis.

It boasts many excellent properties:It is remarkably inert and won't break down under customary conditions. It degrades via oxidative reactions with air, ozone or hydroperoxides.

It has low volatility and little tendency for self-ignition at room temperature. The flashpoint is 66°C, making this an ideal oil if you want to add some final gloss before storing equipment such as vats or drums of TNPP at low temperature.

It is a water-based pesticide with the trifunctional purpose of reducing mites, fungi, and moss. It is often used in plastics to improve their resilience to heat, electrical currents, and impact.

Applications:

Trisnonylphenyl phosphite (TNPP) is commonly used to stabilize organic solvent-based pesticides, formulations, emulsions, and coatings. It is also suitable for water-phase photopolymerization because it has outstanding hydrolytic stability to hexavalent chromium ions.

It is used as a biocide for water treatment or applied to seeds to kill microbial contamination. It is a phosphorus-containing chemical found in some pesticides, paints and varnishes, octopus potting soil, and some wood chip surfaces.

It is used in various industrial and commercial commodities such as adhesives, lubricants, plywood coatings, printers' ink, paint removers and anti-graffiti protector.

It is also utilized extensively in the Synthetic Resin Manufacturing Industry for catalysts.
