What Is HALS 944?

HALS 944 is a high-molecular-weight, oligomeric hindered amine light stabilizer. It helps slow photo-oxidative degradation that can cause loss of appearance and mechanical performance during light exposure.

Its oligomeric structure is commonly considered when lower volatility, reduced migration and improved extraction resistance are important. Final performance still depends on the polymer, pigments, fillers, processing conditions, exposure environment and the complete additive package.
