Amido amphoteric compounds are amphoteric compounds, which can react as either an acid or a base.

The sodium salt of amido-2-hydroxy-propionic acid is amido-2-hydroxy propanoic acid, and it is the principal component of many cleaning and anti-bacterial agents.

It is produced by reacting sodium carbonate with acrylic acid. It can be synthesized into different forms of products during the production process by using different methods such as precipitation method, spray drying method, etc.

Applications:

Amido amphoteric solutions are widely used for simple and sensitive measurement of the concentration of organic and inorganic ions (e.g., phosphate, sulfate, sulfite, acetate, sodium, potassium, etc.).
