How DSTDP Works
The sulfur atom in the thioether linkage acts as a hydroperoxide decomposer. During polymer processing, hydroperoxides form as intermediates in the oxidative degradation chain. DSTDP reduces these to stable alcohols, breaking the chain before further degradation occurs.
