p-Cresol is the para isomer of methylphenol. Alkylated with isobutylene it gives BHT and related antioxidants for plastics, ゴム, fuels and lubricants; it is also used for phenolic resins and plasticizers in the plastics industry, as a disinfectant raw material, and as an intermediate for dyes, pesticides and fragrance chemicals such as anisaldehyde.
p-Cresol melts at about 35 ℃, so it may arrive solid; plan heated unloading.
