Présentation du produit & avantages clés

BDP is an oligomeric aryl phosphate with about 8.9% phosphorus. Like RDP it promotes char and plasticizes the melt, but its bisphenol A backbone gives better hydrolytic stability and lower volatility, so parts keep their properties after heat and humidity aging. It is used in PC/ABS and PPE/HIPS housings for electronics, chargers and office equipment.

BDP is sold under CAS 181028-79-5 and also 5945-33-5; tell us which your documents require. Acid value, TPP content and viscosity are the numbers to compare.

Hydrolytically stable

Better resistance to heat and humidity aging than RDP.

Halogen-free V-0

Gives PC/ABS and PPE/HIPS UL 94 V-0 without bromine or chlorine.

Specified on your terms

We quote against your phosphorus content, indice d'acide, TPP content, viscosity and water and send the batch COA for each lot.

01

Name the end use

Name the polymer and the fire rating you must meet — UL 94 class and thickness, LOI or cable standard.

02

Compare the numbers that matter

Phosphorus content, indice d'acide, TPP content, viscosity and water.

03

Check viscosity handling

BDP is viscous; confirm heated lines or drum warming for your dosing pump.

04

Trial, then lock the spec

Compound a trial batch, run your fire and mechanical tests, and keep the approved lot COA as the reference.
