Applications
It is an efficient water vapor absorber and air humidity regulator. Lithium bromide at a concentration of 54% to 55% can be used as an absorption refrigerant.
In organic chemistry, it is used as a hydrogen chloride removal agent and a swelling agent for organic fibers (such as wool, hair, etc.). It is used medically as a hypnotic and a sedative. In addition, it is also used in the photographic industry, analytical chemistry, and electrolytes and chemical reagents in certain high-energy batteries.
Anhydrous lithium bromide is mainly used in water vapor absorber and air humidity regulator, can be used as absorption refrigerant, but also used in organic chemistry, pharmaceutical industry, photographic industry and other industries.
