Cresyl Diphenyl Phosphate(CDP), also know as Diphenyl cresol phosphate, Phosphoric acid methyl phenyl diphenyl ester, is a colorless, oily, viscous liquid that is clear in appearance. It smells a little phenolic.

CDP is the abbreviation for it. It has a strong odor. It dissolves well in water and alcohol but is not soluble in ether or chloroform. It is an organophosphate compound. It has very good thermal stability.

At the same time, it also has electrical insulation, oil resistance, old age resistance and other properties. Cresyl diphenyl phosphate(CDP) reacts to cresol and phenol with phosphorus pentoxide in the liquid phase at 100 degrees Celsius. 

Applications:

Cresyl Diphenyl Phosphate(CDP) is used as a flame retardant in many industrial and commercial applications, such as plastics, textiles, foams and rubber products.
